Infrastructure Engineer-
DFW – Contract.

Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training.
  • 3 years of experience as a systems or infrastructure engineer or administrator.

Preferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
  • 5+ years of experience as a systems or infrastructure engineer or administrator
  • 2+ years of experience with any Private or Public Clouds

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Proficiency and demonstrated experience in:
    - File transfer procedures and protocols - SFTP, FTPS, FTP, SSH, and PGP
    - FTP/SFTP Software
    - IPSwitch’s WSFTP Pro software
    - IPSwitch’s MOVEit Central and MOVEit DMZ software
    - IPswitch Software Suite including MoveIT & WSFTP
    - PowerShell Scripting
    - Automation Tools
    - MOVEit API
  • Experience with DevOps Model
  • Ability to demonstrate good judgment and experience in technology selection and implementation.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong prioritization, time management and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of API Integration and Global Load Balancer
  • Proficiency in Agile project management methodology, specifically within the infrastructure area
  • Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service

Language & Communication Skills:

  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels within the organization
  • Ability to explain technical concepts and adjust messaging based on the audience, including non-technical groups
  • Ability to influence through outstanding interpersonal skills, collaboration, and negotiation skills
